News for Newbies has been preempted to bring you the SCA song filk chosen by the winner of last week’s medieval riddle contest. Sally from Living Without Meat chose “A Woman’s Pain” for the filk of the week. It’s another song that I wrote back when I was the Bard of Fettburg. Sally has also chosen to have me write a new filk based on… wait for it…. vegetarian medieval food! This should be an awesome topic, and I already have a tune in my head. The new song will be posted on Saturday. So, without further ado, here is “A Woman’s Pain.”
